Anamanaguchi worked with an unknown singer for their new song (and the singer's debut), "Pop It," which was written and produced over a single weekend at their new dream.hax studio space in New York City. "Pop It" is bubbly with restraint, making use of fun hooks, tiny electronic sounds, pleasing pops, and vocaloid elements.
Accompanying "Pop It" is a remix from an unknown producer, Gerald, who Anamanaguchi met in a chat room.
Anamanaguchi will be playing a show in LA tomorrow at El Rey Theatre and also a show in San Francisco on Sunday at DNA Lounge. Harajuku singer Una (managed by the same team as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Asobi System) will be opening both shows for her first US performances ever.
