The Attack Announce New Multi-Language EP "Under The Gun" * Announce North American Dates w/ The Business Beginning Next Month!

Orlando street-punk and hardcore band The Attack are breaking new ground by announcing the release of their new, multi-language EP "Under The Gun"available Friday, June 13th, 2014.

By enlisting friends and fans from all over the world to help with the translations, the band will be releasing five versions of the new EP, each with a lead track in a foreign language, and available through iTunes in all the territories where the foreign language featured on the track is spoken (example, Spanish version will be available in Spain as well as South America).

Including tracks sung in Italian, German, English, Spanish and French, the band recruited help from a t-shirt printer from Germany, some old friends from Italy, the local high school French club, etc., the band sent the music and transcribed lyrics, receiving a written translation and a voice recording for pronunciation purposes. Frontman Charlie Bender learned and recorded each track which was then sent back to the translator to check for accuracy.

When asked about the project, guitarist Brad Palkevich (becoming known for his one-of-a-kind marketing strategies, including last year's 6-show-in-one-day Florida Record Store Day tour), replied, "How could we not (do this)! It seemed so obvious. Through the internet and iTunes music is available worldwide, but how much do we know about foreign releases? It seemed really obvious to release our music in other languages in order to meet some new friends and hopefully pick up some fans around the world. We would love to build awareness worldwide, plus we are always trying to do something a little different to keep things fresh for our selves. We always want to try and do something exciting with each release, something fun, even if it is more work."

"Punk is universal," explains Palkevich, "It should be sung in every language and dialect across the globe. How can we expect people in other countries to give a crap about what we're doing if we cant be bothered to learn a few verses and choruses in their native tongue?"

The "Under The Gun" project began last fall and took roughly six months of back and forth translations and fact checks. In addition to the languages available on the new EP, The Attack will be planning future translations of the EP (and possible future releases) available in Russian, Japanese and others to be announced.

* Five different versions of the "Under The Gun" EP will be available through iTunes throughout the world, with each country having its native language track as lead track. The physical "Under The Gun" 7" includes download card featuring all versions of the release.
