Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Patrick Park recently released his fourth full-length album, Love Like Swords. The LP finds Los Angeles-based Patrick taking an introspective, yet innovative, approach to his solo acoustic style.
Love Like Swords ebbs & flows through a variety of styles, with Patrick’s pure vocal poetry captivating the listener. Having previously dropped LP cut “Dust and Mud,” an upbeat track accented by horns, bright harmonies & stomping drums, Patrick today unveils the unique, California-inspired accompanying video. As he elaborates, “I did the ‘Dust and Mud’ video with my good friend, the very talented director JT Gurzi. We used a really interesting format to film the video. The camera we used is called a Lomokino super 35mm. It shoots regular 35 mm film and just has a very unique look to it. The film turns out being very jumpy and saturated. We shot at locations all over southern California. The Salton Sea, Salvation Mountain, Joshua Tree, and part of an old shipwreck on the southern coast.” The “Dust and Mud” video premiered with PopMatters, and is available to post & share HERE!
