They Fray add tour dates + "Break Your Plans" impacts at radio!

To celebrate the release of their fourth album Helios (out now on Epic Records), The Fray will embark on a nationwide tour throughout July. Barcelona and Oh Honey will support the band on select dates including a special hometown performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater. See below for full tour routing.

The latest track off the new record “Break Your Plans” is streaming now at VEVO: http://bit.ly/1pGh8F1. Of the track, Isaac Slade(vocals, piano) notes, “We wanted to capture the moment right before a couple parts ways, where everything is pointing to the split, and one of them suddenly gets this fire—almost out of nowhere. Maybe it’s the feeling of the other just starting to leave, maybe it's a moment-in-time but suddenly there's fight left, and they go for it.”

Helios was released last month to widespread critical acclaim—Billboard named it “one of the most highly anticipated releases of the season” describing the band as “more aggressive and more optimistic than ever before,” while Esquire notes “they are one of a select few rock bands to successfully use a piano and still sound like rock bands.” The lead single “Love Don’t Die,” produced by Ryan Tedder (Adele, One Republic), premiered on the “Today Show” followed by performances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014,” and a special performance on the outdoor stage at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

The Fray is Slade, Joe King (guitar, vocals), Dave Welsh (guitar), and Ben Wysocki (drums). The Denver-based group formed in 2002 after high school friends Slade and King bumped into each other at a local guitar shop. The Fray achieved national success with their 2005 debut featuring the hit singles “Over My Head (Cable Car)” and “How to Save a Life,” which went double-platinum. The band also earned a 2010 Grammy nomination for their self-titled release.
