This April, Aussie punk band The Death Set are embarking on a short string of dates on the East Coast of the US, taking them through Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Brooklyn. They'll be accompanied by their countrymates Wax Witches, ensuring that these shows will be seriously messy fun, the way punk is meant to be.
New York City based The Death Set originally hails from The Gold Coast, Australia. It is there where Johnny Siera and Dan Walker met, drawn together by the local experimental music scene and their love of punk rock, electronic music, and hip-hop. Always strange and ridiculously catchy, The Death Set return to their punk origins with King Babies, their latest EP and first release for Dim Mak joined by hard-hitting drummer Will Broussard. Capturing the mayhem of their live shows, King Babies is both noisy and melodic with maximum energy. Produced and mixed by Dan Walker in his Brooklyn studio The Submarine, King Babies is a collection of what people have grown to love from this bizarre art punk band.
