El Ten Eleven releases new EP, winter tour starts tomorrow FULL ALBUM STREAM: 'For emily' EP SINGLE: "Nova Scotia"

Today marks the release of El Ten Eleven's 'For emily' EP. The EP is the follow-up to their Transitions (2012) and Transitions Remixed (2013) albums. The duo started writing these songs in late 2012 and recorded them over a few sessions last year during some of the rare time they had off of the road. You can stream the EP in its entirety over at theirBandcamp page. The title of the EP is a dedication to a friend who spent a lot of time being a part of the community at Atwater Deluxe Rehearsals (the rehearsal space in Los Angeles that Kristian owns) and sadly passed away last year. The e in 'emily' is purposely not capitalized, as that is how she wrote out her name. The lead track "Nova Scotia" is a dedication to Kristian's best friend Matt. The second track "Yyes!" is a dedication to Ron Fleming and his team at the design company of the same name who have done the artwork for all of the band's releases since day one. "Reprise" is simply a reprise of some of the parts from "Yyes!" The band's Winter Tour kicks off tomorrow, and will take them out on 22 dates in February and March in markets on the west coast, southwest, into Texas, and up through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
