February 26th, 2014 - (Burbank, CA.) - Nashville quintet The Wild Feathers will appear on ABC's hit musical drama series Nashville performing their new single "Got It Wrong" tonight, Wednesday,February 26th at 10pm ET / 9pm CT. The song is the latest single from their self-titled debut album, produced by Jay Joyce (Cage the Elephant, Emmylou Harris). Two other songs from the album, "Left My Woman" and "Backwoods Company" have all been featured in previous episodes of the show.
The Wild Feathers are currently on tour in support of the album. They have played well over 200 shows with Gary Clark Jr., Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Dawes, Dwight Yoakam and ZZ Ward, stopping at the Austin City Limits Festival, San Francisco's Outside Lands, Sasquatch and Hangout Festivals, Milwaukee's Summerfest, Louisville's Forecastle Festival, and Nashville's Live on the Green. The Wild Feathers performed their acclaimed single "The Ceiling" on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan, andThe Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Minneapolis Star Tribune claimed this track was "perhaps the most elegantly crafted song of the year" and then won with the Sirius Spectrum Award for Best Song Discovery.
