Seether / Flyleaf Tour

New York --- Seether and Flyleaf have announced an eight week run across the U.S. this spring. The tour will begin on April 8 in Denver, Colorado and continue through May 31. The two groups have shared the stage in the past, and have been close friends for quite some time.

Seether is currently enjoying one of their biggest hits to date with the song “Fake It.” The lead track from FINDING BEAUTY IN NEGATIVE SPACES has been locked in the top position on the alternative rock charts for seven weeks, while also enjoying a run of 13 weeks atop the active rock airplay monitor. Over the past several months, Seether has been touring arenas with Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin across the U.S. and Canada. FINDING BEAUTY IN NEGATIVE SPACES follows the RIAA gold-certified studio offerings DISCLAIMER (2002), DISCLAIMER II (2004), and KARMA & EFFECT (2005). The band also released the live, acoustic album ONE COLD NIGHT in 2006.

Seether vocalist / guitarist Shaun Morgan offered, “We couldn’t be more excited to kick off our first headlining tour of 2008 with an amazing band like Flyleaf. We’re going to have a longer set which means more new music and even cool surprises for our fans. Get your tickets now ‘cause it’s guaranteed to make you that much cooler…”

A&M/Octone artists Flyleaf’s self-titled debut album has gone platinum by the RIAA for sales of one million copies. Two powerful singles, “I’m So Sick,” and “Fully Alive,” received strong support from major market active rock radio, modern rock radio, MTV 2, Fuse and initially Yahoo Music. Currently their third single, “All Around Me” is shaping up as their highest-charting song to date – and is having a definite impact on sales of the debut album FLYLEAF. Vocalist/lyricist Lacey Mosley, guitarists Sameer Bhattacharya and Jared Hartmann, bassist Pat Seals, and drummer James Culpepper have been playing together since 2002. The band has made major network television appearances on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, and NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly.
