Bodog Battle Brings On Major Equipment Sponsors To Spread The Rock

Bodog Battle worldwide unites with a group of gear greats. Bodog Battle is proud to be teaming with Mesa/Boogie, Hoshino/Tama and Paiste Alpha Cymbals to provide the thousands of musicians competing in Bodog Battle 2008 with the highest quality instruments and equipment available today. With 400+ live battle performances taking place within 70 cities in Europe, Canada and across the United States, Bodog Battle keeps the rock sounding as huge as ever by working with some of the greatest names in music equipment to provide the backline for the 2008 Bodog Battle competition and Bodog Battle reality show.

World renowned for iconic tone and hand-built high performance amplifiers since 1969, MESA/Boogie Ltd. joins Bodog Battle as a partner and will outfit both guitarists and bassists with backline for the 2008 Bodog Battle Competition and the Bodog Battle reality show. Randall Smith, MESA's Designer & President shared this sentiment: "Cheers to Bodog for their commitment to keeping the music live and exciting and for sharing our passion for tone with aspiring musicians everywhere."

Tama, "Strongest Name in Drums," is now on board as a new partner. "We are very proud and excited to be the exclusive drum and hardware sponsor of Bodog Battle," said Terry Bissette of Tama. "Tama's best-selling Superstar kits and Roadpro hardware that easily provide the necessary power for battalions of battling bands - and stand up to all the punishment - will definitely make the whole gig even more enjoyable for the drummers."

Paiste Alpha Cymbals also joins Bodog Battle as the official cymbal sponsor and supplier. "Paiste is truly honored to be given the chance to be the official cymbal sponsor for Bodog Battle, and we admire their intention for only using the finest sounding instruments available for musicians today." The pinnacle of percussion, Paiste Alpha Cymbals, allows global drummers to show their stuff throughout the event.

Bodog Battle is thrilled to have such fantastic partners for their ever-expanding competition. The global music competition continues to gain success. After the major expansion in its second year, thousands of bands worldwide commit to the excitement. Competing for a $1 million marketing and recording contract from the groundbreaking Bodog Music record label in over 200 venues, the exposure is endless. The competition inspired the Bodog Music Battle of the Bands reality TV series, which aired on fuse TV and gave viewers nationwide the opportunity to see what life for bands on the road is "really" like. This year's $1 million Bodog Music contract is held at even higher risk because the competition is global.
