YELLOWCARD's "Lift A Sail" Racks Up on Spotify, Pandora, Vevo... Unanimously Glowing Press Reviews!

With just one week since its release, Razor & Tie recording artists YELLOWCARD's new album LIFT A SAIL has been racking up the numbers:

 Spotify has reported 495,000 streams
• SoundScan sales: 13,600+
• Vevo Plays of "One Bedroom" Video: 100,000+
• Billboard Top 200 Album Chart of #26
The album also debuts on a number of other Billboard charts including #13 at Digital, #39 at Physical, #7 at Rock, #9 at Vinyl, and #6 at Indie.
The first single "ONE BEDROOM" spawned a heart-wrenching and socially-arresting video that features international activist groupINVISIBLE CHILDREN which strives to end the reign of violence of Joseph Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army in Africa. With over 100k views since its launch just two weeks ago, label Razor & Tie has vowed to donate $1,000 for every 100,000 plays of the video through December 31, 2014, up to $5,000.
Lyrically focusing on personal tragedies and triumphs in the lives of the core band members – vocalist RYAN KEY, violinist SEAN MACKIN, guitarist RYAN MENDEZ and bassist JOSH PORTMAN (Anberlin's Nate Young filled in on drums), LIFT A SAIL also stands as the band's most experimental album yet, with harder-edged guitars, epic orchestral flourishes, keyboard textures, and even some songs devoid of standard rock instruments as guitars and drums.
LIFT A SAIL is produced and mixed by longtime Yellowcard collaborator Neal Avron. In addition to covers of Substream and New Noisemagazines, LIFT A SAIL has been garnering unanimously glowing press raves:
"… their boldest, most exploratory work to date, fusing their familiar West Coast-inspired pop-punk with a wide palette of previously unused textures including heavy splashes of '90s alt rock and electronica." – Alternative Press
"Yellowcard's new album, Lift A Sail, sounds massive and majestic, full of cavernous drums and pile-driving guitars that meld with layers of deeply textured keyboards." – Guitar World
"Air-violins at the ready, 'cause the 'Card are ripping it up." - Kerrang
"With themes of perseverance and unconditional love, the best arrangements of their career, and the ability to return from a two year hiatus as well as the willingness to truly draw from personal heartbreaking experieces, Lift a Sail cements Yellowcard as legendary." -Outburn
"Lift a Sail is like nothing the group has released before, eschewing pop-punk for overdriven alt-rock and a plethora of power ballads."
Alternative Press
"The band has consistently put out killer arena-rock-ready albums" - Fuse
"Yellowcard ventured into a more modern, almost Britpop vibe with Lift a Sail." – Inked
