The Bots are Los Angeles brothers and bandmates Mikaiah and Anaiah Lei (17 and 21 years old). Their distinctive sound brings together the veracity of garage/punk while paying homage to the American blues and ballad tradition. The Bots are deeply intertwined in the American music narrative while, at the same time, carving out a wholly new, powerful, uniquely personal storyline.

2014 saw The Bots conquer the stages at Coachella, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, Summer Sonic, Afropunk Fest, and Riot Fest, resulting in attention from the likes of Vanity FairThe Hollywood ReporterRevoltSpinRolling Stone and a full-length feature in the Los Angeles Times. The band also supported The Dropkick Murphys and Augustines on various dates. This summer, the band's single "All I Really Want" was premiered by BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe and featured on NPR Music's All Songs Considered.
