Citizen Share "Silo" via BrooklynVegan, Fall Headlining Tour w/ You Blew It!, Hostage Calm, Praise & True Love

Citizen Premiere New Track "Silo" via BrooklynVegan, Announce Tour Exclusive 7"

Fall North American Headline Tour w/ You Blew It!, Hostage Calm, Praise & True Love

In preparation for their upcoming fall headlining tour with You Blew It!, Hostage Calm, Praise and True Love, BrooklynVegan shared a new track from Citizen today, their first new material since the release of their 2013 debut full-length Youth.  The track, titled "Silo" will appear on an extremely limited tour exclusive 7" that will only be available at these shows.  "Silo" is currently available for purchase via Bandcamp.  Tickets for all of the shows are currently on sale (all tour dates below).

Citizen's rise through the underground punk scene has been equal parts rapid and stealthy.  Since the release of their debut full-length Youth on Run For Cover Records last June, the Michigan quintet has quietly amassed an enormous following, with their videos for "The Summer" and "How Does It Feel" collectively accumulating over a half-million views, sold-out tours, and socials that top over 100k fans.  It seems as an appropriate time as any for Citizen to embark on their first North American headlining tour.

Their debut album Youth was recorded by Will Yip (La Dispute, Title Fight, Braid, Pity Sex) at Studio 4 and debuted at #171 on the Billboard Top 200 and #9 on Heatseekers.  Since forming as midwestern high-schoolers in 2009, Citizen has continually demonstrated that they are one of the most promising young bands in the alternative rock underground today.
