In support of their upcoming debut album titled "Buy American," New Jersey drunk-punk trio The Moms have premiered their new single "Business is Booming" at New Noise Magazine. In addition, the band has announced the first leg of their upcoming full US tour, taking along friends and special guests Everything Ever, kicking off in late October and extending through the remainder of 2014.
In anticipation of the new release, the band and label have recently launched pre-order for "Buy American," available atpaperplastick.limitedrun.com.
The Moms tread the thin line between shameless idiocy and dark humor, at times seeming to test the boundaries of the first amendment. The trio’s first full length record “Buy American,” is a testament to that fact.
The genre-bending album’s socially charged prose touches upon subjects such as prescription drug abuse, private bomb brokers, joining the navy, and the potential for a better post-apocalyptic U.S.A. With the release of “Buy American,” The Moms will be touring, promoting their loud blend of sweat and satire, as well as a penchant for live performance and drunken debauchery.
It‘s been said that, with their “bonafide rock n’ roll,” "The Moms got steeze.”
