Connecticut's The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die have announced a North American fall headlining tour with support from The Hotelier, Rozwell Kid, and Posture & the Grizzly (all tour dates below).  The post-rock emo ensemble burst into the spotlight last year as one of the flagbearers of the much-discussed "emo revival" with the release of their debut full-length Whenever, If Ever on Topshelf Records.  The album garnered praise across the internet, with Pitchfork calling the record a "rare debut...Whenever, If Ever fights against fears, societal expectations, preconceptions, and the metaphysical for the greater good of society."  Stereogum praised  it "a gorgeously ambitious sprawl of bleeding hearts and far-flung instrumentation."

The band, which functions more as a collective of musicians, has become known for their original ideas and recently teamed up with Audiotree to release a limited edition live LP of their recording, titled Audiotree Live 3.1.2014 via Broken World Media.  The record is limited to 1000 copies and is now available for pre-order.  It includes two new tracks, "Shopper's Beef" and "Space Exploration to Solve Earthly Crises".  The entire session can be watched on Audiotree's YouTube channel and is currently available for digital purchase.
