Richmond, Virginia's Fall Line Fest has announced their final line-up and schedule for this year's festival. Headlining acts include Real Estate,The Hold Steady, Death, Matthew E. White, Gent & Jawns, DJ Lonnie B Featuring Skillz and others (see below for full listing).
The second annual Fall Line Fest will take place this year on September 5th & 6th, 2014 throughout the city of Richmond, Virginia. The festival focuses on music, art and food, aiming to showcase what it is exactly that gives Richmond its own unique charm while balancing both nationally-known names and homegrown talent, all within a walkable area of the city's downtown.
Weekend passes are now available for $30 here and day passes are available for $20here. There will be no individual show tickets. A full schedule for the weekend can be seen at the Fall Line Fest website.
This year, Fall Line Fest turns up the heat on the culinary aspect of the festival with a Fall Line Brunch Festival at the Broadberry that features signature dishes from eight up-and-coming Richmond chefs (ticket included in price of festival ticket). Hardywood and Starr Hill’s FLF signature beer collaboration, Fall Line Fest Amped Up Ale, will be available at participating venues throughout the weekend.
Art appreciation takes many forms at FLF, with a juried art show at Gallery5, a live art project and hip hop show, a live mural painting at Quirk Gallery featuring a number of favorite local artists, steamroller map printing by Studio 23, community art exhibitions, and more.
Driven by an all-volunteer team drawing from a wealth of experience, Fall Line Fest truly exemplifies the rich, supportive character Richmond has come to embody in modern times, and is the ideal weekend to acquaint oneself to the city for locals and visitors alike.
