Today, Sanders Bohlke confirms support dates for a run of spring shows with Canadian phenoms Justin Nozuka and Megan Bonnell. The tour begins with a two night stint at LA's Hotel Cafe and concludes May 12th, at Rough Trade in Brooklyn, with other featured stops in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Toronto, Boston and more.

Bohlke is in the process of writing and recording for a new album that he hopes to release in Summer ’14, on Communicating Vessels, an up-and-coming label run by Jeffrey Cain (of Remy Zero fame) out of Birmingham, AL.

Ghost Boy songs will definitely be included in his live set as well as one or two newly completed songs from the upcoming album.

"The video was shot in Jackson, Mississippi, by a friend of mine, Robby Piantanida," explains Bohlke. "It was amazing because we sort of had an idea and just shot what we could in an afternoon. The other basketball player, Frank, just happened to be at the park, so we asked him to be in it. A lot of credit goes to Azod Abedikichi, the editor, for taking this beautiful footage and really capturing the loneliness going on in the song

Inspired by a wintertime retreat to the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, Ghost Boy chronicles the isolation that creeps in when the days get shorter and you’re further and further removed from society. This may seem difficult to translate to stage, but Bohlke has already seen quite a lot of positive feedback from the road testing of these songs, with Glide Magazine claiming, “Between the complexity of his music, meaningful lyrics, serene guitar style, Bohlke truly demonstrates in a live setting why he deserves recognition. On this night, even as an opening act, the sheer emotion behind his songs captured the ears of a group of strangers and left them stupefied, shouting for more."

"Bohlke’s music is atmospheric and spare, yet imbued with an implied lushness that allows his tunes to wrap cocoon-like around the listener’s ears—and heart."” — BLURT Magazine

"These eleven songs are hypnotic and haunting, creeping into the mind and swirling around until they’re utterly fixed in, with well-crafted melodies and amazing production." -Glide Magazine
