Electro-punk pioneers Mindless Self Indulgence are preparing to embark on their latest U.S. tour which kicks off on March 12^th inTempe, AZ and have finalized the schedule of dates which will feature 27 shows running through April 15^th. Fans will be wise to catch the band on this tour as MSI’s supreme leader Jimmy Urine recently announced via the band’s Facebook page, “After the run in March we are taking a hiatus from touring. Who knows when or if we will come to your town again, and I don’t want to hear you bitching about it!”

The band dropped a super cool exclusive today premiering an anime music video “cartoon show” on AltPress.com. The short – imagined as the intro to an MSI cartoon series – is set to their latest single “Fuck Machine” and features the band as characters in anime form. Conceptualized by Jimmy Urine, the video was animated by MoreFrames with character designs by BiteytheVillian.

MSI returned to the spotlight last year with the epic How I Learned To Stop Giving A Shit And Love Mindless Self Indulgence – their first album in five years. Their most recent release is the remix collection Fuck Machine which features 11 versions of the title track and a bonus remix of “Jack You Up”.

Mindless Self Indulgence formed in New York City in 1997 and quickly made their mark with an indefinable hybrid sound that portended a lot of rock music to come. MSI has released four studio albums to date, cracked the Top 5 on Billboard’s Dance chart seven times (with four #1’s!) performed with the likes of Rammstein, Linkin Park, System of a Down, My Chemical Romance and The Dresden Dolls, and maintains an intense, devout global fan base through constant international touring and energetic live performances.
