" ...evokes classic, synth-steered modern rock and highlights frontman Kyle Wilson's hypnotic voice." – Rolling Stone

“ …a heart slowing way down, big exhales and even bigger inhales.”
– The FADER

“The group's dynamic arrangements and instrumentation provide the perfect bed for singer-songwriter Kyle Wilson's shape-shifting voice…” – NPR

Brooklyn indie rock quartet Milagres will release their sophomore full-length album, Violent Light, on February 25via Kill Rock Stars in the US (2/24 via Memphis Industries in the UK). The follow-up to their 2011 debut Glowing Mouth LP, Violent Light finds the band channeling influences as diverse as Al Green, Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush, and introduces a darker, harder sound for the group.

Milagres (Kyle Wilson, Fraser McCulloch, Chris Brazee & Paul Payabyab) fill Violent Light with richness and delicacy. The band previously unveiled album cut “The Letterbomb,” which combines a “David Bowie-like theatricality with a sprawling prog groove” (SPIN) & single “Jeweled Cave,” a psych-pop number that immediately bursts open with bouncing synths & a driving bassline. Rolling Stone has now unleashed “Sunburn,” a poignant, bittersweet track that reflects the album’s diversity- ranging across styles from dream pop to funky classic rock.“Sunburn” is available to post & share HERE.

Coinciding with the release of Violent Light on Feb. 25th, Milagres will take to the road on a full US tour in support of the record, including shows at the Savannah Stopover Music FestivalSXSW & a homecoming celebration at theBowery Ballroom! Full dates follow below.
