Ex Hex share new song & 7-inch details

On March 18, Ex Hex will release their debut limited-edition 7-inch “Hot and Cold” b/w “Waterfall” and “Everywhere.”

A power trio hailing from Washington, DC, Ex Hex is Mary Timony, Betsy Wright, and Laura Harris. The songs were recorded in Mary’s DC basement in July of 2013. Mary describes the process: “We worked quickly and over the course of two days, we recorded a handful of songs. Our friend Dennis Kane helped with the recording, and the songs were mixed by Brendan Canty.”

Ex Hex is what your older brother’s friends listened to. “Roxy Roller” and “Virginia Plain” rumbling from the Kenwood in the basement. With a full tour including SXSW in March followed by a full-length later in 2014, Ex Hex are just getting started!
