After playing sold-out shows across his native UK, Tom Vek is here in the US for two intimate gigs in NYC. He’ll be playing tonight at Manhattan’s Mercury Lounge and tomorrow at Brooklyn’s Union Pool. He has recently released his long-awaited sophomore album Leisure Seizure in the UK, as well as digitally in the US on June 7th via Island/Cooperative Music/Downtown. The record will be getting a physical release this Fall in the US on September 13th.
Following the release of his new album in the UK and propelled by his dynamic live shows, things have been heating up for Tom. He is jumping on the UK Summer festival circuit with performances at Beacon Festival, Bestival and Reading & Leeds Festival. And in addition to leaving his mark across European stages, he is also leaving his mark on the streets of London…literally. An enthusiastic lover of visual art, Tom has teamed up with the designers at London’s Paintshop Studio who have branded the wall of Silver Bullett bar in Finsbury Park.
