BLACKLIST ROYALS Announce Split w/ Street Dogs... Offer FREE MP3 at AltPress.com

Nashville punk n’ rollers BLACKLIST ROYALS are excited to announce a split EP with Street Dogs, slated for release later this year on Paper + Plastick Records. The band is road testing the new songs, as well as cranking out fan favorites from their highly praised sophomore record SEMPER LIBERI, on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour, where they have been performing since the beginning of the month, and wrap on July 28th. More information regarding the split will be announced shortly.

Boasting two new songs from both bands, Blacklist Royals have partnered with Alternative Press to offer fans a FREE MP3 download of a B-side from the recording session titled “Golden Hands,”which can be downloaded here:http://www.altpress.com/features/entry/exclusive_stream_download_blacklist_royals_golden_hands/.

“We are really proud of the song” says Blacklist Royals drummer Rob Rufus. “It branches out in a new direction for us a bit, both musically and topically, so we're all really happy people can check it out for free! It gives people no excuse not to at least give it a chance.”

Though this is the band’s first official outing on the Warped Tour, Blacklist Royals got their start at the tour like so many other bands. “We first did Warped Tour right when the band formed in 2006 playing to the entrance line and hustling CDs to kids in the crowd,” Rufus admits. “So it is really amazing to be an actual part of the tour now, and as exhausted as we are from doing it in a van we could never take the step up for granted. It has been a really amazing way for us to reach new, different fans. Our road crew, the tour staff and Kia Stage crew are all great. Plus we get to watch Against Me, Street Dogs, Sharks, The Exposed, Less Than Jake, and Lucero every day. Not a bad way to spend a fucking summer!!!”
