"dreamy, sweeping, shoegazey pop. Frontman Rami Vierula has one of those earnest, instantly likeable guy-next-door voices...and the slow-burning tunes are consistently anchored in melody." - NBC New York

Finnish group Delay Trees have released the accompanying video for single "Cassette 2012" off of their s/t full-length debut, available now on Friendly Fire Recordings. "Cassette 2012" is another in the band's series of creative, mixed media music videos, the first being "About Brothers," which was praised by Paste, NBC, and AOL Spinner among others, and recently debuted on MTV Subterranean, MTV's LOGO TV and Much Music's "The Wedge."

The video for "Cassette 2012," directed by James Martin, ties together simple animation and serene shots of Tokyo street life. Frontman, Rami Vierulanoted, "I've heard that watching the beautiful shots from Tokyo and listening to the song can create a peaceful and captivating atmosphere for the viewer...and I guess that's exactly what we were hoping to achieve." The shoegazing quartet is originally from Hämeenlinna, Finland but currently reside south of Helsinki where they constructed the album with Finnish musician and engineer Julius Mauranen.
