Premiering on MTV Hive, No Surrender teams up once again with award winning artist/director Maya Erdelyi for “Silver Hall”. Set in a television set that seems to come from a child’s imagination, we’re presented with two silver ladies telling you the story of a frustrated, depleted man who has given up, all the while, bombs are dropping around them. Erdelyi’s trademarked collage work flashes on the TV set, showing images of garbage spewing out of the still mouths of women. All the while, Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio croons “Here in a silver hall/ No one knows when the next bomb falls / And the TV’s lying”.
No Surrender’s complex and stunning sophomore effort Medicine Babies will be out June 16th, 2011 on ZerOKilled Music. Blending hip-hop, electro, soul, synth-pop, and indie-rock, the album is produced by Tricky’s former muse Costanza Francavilla and European production team Radioclit (Santigold, M.I.A The Very Best).
