The Dude abides at Bonnaroo, man. Lebowski Fest is taking its Movie Party, wrapping it up, and giving the gift of The Dude to The Achievers at Bonnaroo. Twice. Complete with the Founding Dudes donning their giant pinhead costumes, games such as the ever-popular Ringer Toss, prizes, and multiple screenings of the film (Saturday and Sunday at 3PM), Lebowski Fest will really tie the cinema tent together. The Ringer Toss also means an appearance by The Dudemobile – which the Founding Dudes will be hauling all the way from their home base in Louisville, KY.
The movie theater tent is seated, air-conditioned, and open 24 hours. Along with films such as beloved rock-doc “Anvil! The Story of Anvil”; a sneak preview of “Cold Souls” starring Paul Giamatti; and “Happiness Is” where you can spend some time with John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, and the Dalai Lama himself; you can go along for the ride of your life with The Dude, Walter, and all your favorite characters from the Coen brothers' stoner classic while getting a respite from the heat and providing your ears a little break.

In addition to rolling through Bonnaroo, Lebowski Fest will be spreading the gospel of The Dude in Seattle, Portland, the Bay Area, San Diego, Las Vegas, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, the DC area, and Austin.
“What do you do for recreation?” Julianne Moore's character Maude Lebowski asks The Dude in the film. “Oh, the usual,” The Dude responds. “I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback.” Lebowski Fest organizers have not strayed very far from that formula – much to the delight of Festival attendees. ‘Achievers' are regaled with two nights of events: live music and a screening of the movie on the first night, followed by an evening of bowling, replete with wild costumes, trivia contests, unlimited bowling, White Russians, and what-have-you.
