Royal Blood's "Figure It Out" Is The Most Added Song This Week At Rock Radio; Band Announces Additional U.S. Headlining Dates

"Royal Blood is one to know" - Mashable
"Swaggering garage rock" - Billboard
"They're going to take over the world" - BBC
"One of the most exciting rock debuts in years" - Q Magazine
"Figure It Out", the second single from UK duo Royal Blood (23 year-old vocalist/bassist Mike Kerr and 25 year-old drummer Ben Thatcher) is the #1 most added song at the rock radio format this week with over 35 stations adding the record early - an impressive entrance onto the chart. Today the band also announced seven additional headlining U.S. dates to take place this September and October. The newly announced dates will go on-sale this Friday, August 8th at 10:00 AM local time. Royal Blood recently wrapped up their first headlining trek in the States and appeared at both the Lollapalooza and Osheaga music festivals this past weekend. The duo was hailed as the must-see bands at Lollapalooza by various publications.

Royal Blood are set to release their debut self-titled full-length album on August 25th on Warner Bros. Records. The album is currently available for pre-order HERE. The band's debut EP Out of The Black EP was released on March 18th. This Fall the band will support The Pixies for 10 nights in the U.S. and Canada. See below for a complete itinerary.

On the heels of the release of the Out Of The Black EP,this past May Royal Blood made their U.S. television debut with a resounding performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Watch the band perform the title track to their EP "Out Of The Black" HERE and "Little Monster" HERE.

Royal Blood is a mixture of anguished vocals, ferocious drumming and bass that provides intricate detail as well as a rumble of rhythm. The duo's sound is a result of a lineage that stretches from present day heroes Queens of the Stone Age to the influential Led Zeppelin, and all the way back to early blues pioneers... yet this huge wall of sound emerges from just two men.  In next to no time, the two have earned critical praise following the release of their debut single "Out Of The Black" on the band's own label Black Mammoth Records last year.
