The much buzzed about singer/rapper, Doja Cat has released her debut EP, Purrr! on MAU Records. Doja wrote the majority of the 5 track EP, which is an eclectic mix of R&B, rap and alternative music. Purrr! is lead by the captivating single, "So High," which has been streamed over 712,000 times via Soundcloud since its release. The equally enticing video for "So High" has received over 240,000 views since its debut in March 2014.
The 18 year-old LA native built her fanbase online, posting her first track on Facebook and eventually built a following via her official Soundcloud page. This digital fanbase helped Doja reach the masses, garnering her critical acclaim from such outlets as Fader, VIBE, Paper Magazine and Pigeons & Planes among others.
The release of Purrr! will surely impress fans and critics alike with its unique production and catchy lyrics, but this is only the beginning for the talented songstress whose star will only brighten with time!
