Beartooth Premiere New Video, Announce US Tour

Hardcore five-piece Beartooth has announced their first-ever North American headline tour. The month-long string of dates kicks off October 3 in Chicago, IL and finishes October 31 with a hometown show in Columbus, OH. Vanna, Sirens & Sailors, Sylar and Alive Like Me will support, tickets go on sale Friday, August 15th. The shows follow a summer-long run on Warped Tour, from which Beartooth emerged as one of the tour’s breakout bands. Beartooth will later join Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens on a US run starting in November.
Beartooth has also premiered the video for their song “The Lines” off their debut album Disgusting today on Alternative Press. Watch the Drew Russ-directed clip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=557mc5ICVv8 . Disgusting was released June 10, 2014 via Red Bull Records.
Written, performed, produced and mixed by 21 year-old Caleb Shomo, Disgusting shares equal inspiration with brutal metalcore as with old-school punk like The Ramones and the bombastic theatricality of Queen. The end result is a back-to-basics hardcore stomp interspersed with anthemic choruses that prompted Alternative Press to name Disgusting one of their “Best Albums of the Year So Far” and feature Caleb on their July issue cover.
More praise for Disgusting:
“New Band You Need To Know” – Rolling Stone
“A breathless, bile-filled audio belch. Screams are instinctive, not stylized. Lyrics are like bloodstained diary entries…Equally emotional and exhilarating, Disgusting is a contender for debut album of the year.”- Rock Sound
“A band to watch” - Revolver
“Disgusting is a roller coaster ride of truth, rebellion and raw emotion guaranteed to seize the attention of skeptics and eager fans alike. 9/10.” - Outburn
“Set to be one of the year’s biggest new bands.” - Metal Hammer
“The world’s best new band.” - Kerrang
