We've been enjoying keeping an eye on Kithkin. As a fairly new Seattle band, they have already come such a long way towards being better than everything else.
From their first single premiere on MTVU to their first video premiere on MOTHER JONES they have consistently lit a trash can fire path through the darkness and shown us that no, not all music is about extremely stupid things. Some music, like this (stretch your first two fingers as wide as they can go) much, can be life changing. Okay, day changing. But that's something. And something is ALWAYS better than nothing.
So here we are. On May 20th Kithkin's debut album Rituals, Trances & Ecstasies for Humans in the Face of Collapse will be released on Pesanta Urfolk. They will be having an album release show in their hometown of Seattle on May 24th @ The Crocodile.
