The video for the lead single “Sorry,” off the latest EP & from LA-based The Moth & The Flame, premieres at MTVU and MTV Buzzworthy. Watch online or tune in every hour today at MTVU: http://bit.ly/1iB0TbH. MTVU is available on 750 college campuses, reaching nearly nine million U.S. college students, seen in the dining areas, fitness centers, student lounges and dorm rooms throughout the U.S., as well as on cable systems from Charter Communications, Verizon FiOS TV, Suddenlink Communications, AT&T u-Verse and nearly 70 others.

The six-song recording, available now via Hidden Records (distributed by RED/Sony), is the band’s first national release following their self-titled, physical-only debut. The music, which was produced by Joey Waronker (Atoms for Peace, Beck, Ultraista), has received early attention with spins on KCRW and coverage at NYLON calling it “layered, complex.” Furthermore, the song “How We Woke Up” is featured on the soundtrack as well as the ending credits for the recently released feature film Skinwalker Ranch. The band is currently working on their debut full-length with Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Jónsi), to be released next year.

To support the EP, the band is on tour with Imagine Dragons throughout Europe. Further tour dates to be announced soon.
The Moth & The Flame is Brandon Robbins (vocals, guitar), Andrew Tolman (drums) and Mark Garbett (keys, vocals). Since forming in Provo, Utah in 2011, the band has become local favorites—playing dozens of sold out shows in and around their hometown before relocating to Los Angeles earlier this year. They are known for their distinctive vocals, compelling live performances featuring anthropomorphic sculptures of their own creation, and for transforming venues into moonscapes with floating lanterns and starry nights. The Moth & The Flame have made appearances at festivals worldwide including The Great Escape, SXSW and Midpoint Music Festival.
