Northern Virginia-based grind/rock trio DRUGS OF
FAITH have this week confirmed a live assault on the Northeastern
quadrant of the country later this month. Running from September 20th through
23rd the tour will charge through Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburgh and
Richmond alongside Philly grinders Drones For Queens.
Following-up their acclaimed Corroded full-length,
released last year on Selfmadegod Records – which won over countless mags with
year-end mentions, including #19 album of 2011 by Decibel Magazine -- DRUGS
OF FAITH have confirmed that the construction of their next release
has begun. The band have completed the writing process on three new tracks, and
have segments of others falling into place. Otherwise there is no confirmed
info for when this new material will see release available at press time, so
stay tuned for further updates.

"...Drugs of Faith slows the raw, chaotically fast
pace of grindcore to a hurtling mid-tempo right hook... But unlike the
faster-than-fast drive of most grindcore, there's a dynamic push-and-pull at
play, more suited to the controlled anarchy of the mosh." – NPR
"...the grinding, rocking, absolutely devastating
trio, led by 'The Grindfather' Richard Johnson (Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Enemy
Soil), have put out just enough songs to keep us salivating while never giving
us what we really want." – Decibel Magazine
"...Corroded is energetic, pissed, and driven by
huge hard riffs that have a sludgy groove but are sped up to raw
goodness." – Music Emissions
