Fresh off a European tour with Norah Jones in support of their new album Old Believers, Cory Chisel and The Wandering Sons have released a new music video in support of their single "Laura." The song is a heartbreaking ballad about feeling a relationship slip away and desperately trying to save it. The video was directed by Grant James (Father John Misty, Other Lives) and was premiered on Tuesday by CMT. Chisel and his band will perform the song on Conan November 1st.

The band will continue on with Norah Jones in October on a Midwest tour that includes stops in Chicago, St. Louis, Milwaukee and more. Chisel will also play headlining shows and recently announced his annual "Evening of Holiday Mischief" Christmas show at Lawrence Chapel in his hometown of Appleton, WI. The show will take place on December 21st and tickets can be purchased at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/277632

Old Believers was released late June on Readymade Records and distributed by Thirty Tigers. The album was produced by Brendan Benson and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. Chisel appeared on Late Night With David Letterman in support of the album's release and the album has received praise from Esquire, Rolling Stone, Nylon, Interview, American Songwriter and more. "The Man in Black's gritty heartland pride informs "Old Believers" Mr. Chisel's second album- and a hit of god-fearing transcendence slips seamlessly into the beautifully heartbroken ballads," said the New York Times.

Old Believers is the follow up to Chisel's critically acclaimed 2009 major label debut Death Won't Send A Letter. On the heels of Death, Chisel toured the world extensively including stops at Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Carnegie Hall and Newport Folk Festival. He was named one of Rolling Stone's "Best New Artists" of 2009 and found radio success with the single "Born Again" -Chisel's irreverent take on his upbringing as the son of a Baptist preacher.
