Swedish sensations Icona Pop are proud to confirm the
release date of their forthcoming ’Iconic EP’. This release will
be available in North America, and features brand new, un-heard tracks, along
with old favorites such as Ready
For The Weekend, I
Love It and Nights
Like This.
The 6 track EP will be available digitally on October
16th, just in time for Icona Pop’s arrival in New York City,
paired with a string of exciting headlining shows and CMJ dates, soon to be
announced. The girls will also be jetting across America this fall for a
series of west coast dates that include the Culture Collide Festival in
Los Angeles next month, Decibel Festival in Seattle, as well
as the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas in November.
Having recently made the move to New York City and signing
to Big Beat Records (Skrillex, Chromeo, Martin Solveig, Teddybears,
Flux Pavilion), the duo are now embarking on a brand new adventure, breaking

Weekly, Washington
Post and Pitchfork have
appointed their summer single ‘I Love It’ as one of the best
of 2012 so far, while MTV picked
the single as the official theme tune for the current season of J-Wow and
Snooki, further affirming – as critics continue to praise their music – that
America is already loving Icona Pop.
Between releasing the ‘Iconic’ and
‘Manners’ EPs and touring across the world, Icona Pop
is busy recording their debut album, expected in early 2013.
