New York indie rock band The Dig are giving their fans a gift, as stated on their site: "Email your ticket receipt for any show on the fall tour to thedig@redlightmanagement.com to redeem a free download of The Dig’s new album, Midnight Flowers."

Earlier the band shared the music video for their acclaimed single “I Already Forgot Everything You Said”, which has been described as a “dreamy track, filled with butterfly-inducing harmonies,” the band chose a run-down but still majestic 19th century building at 5 Beekman Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. In fact, “We were the last people to shoot in this amazing old space before it was gutted,” says singer and bassistEmile Mosseri. The crumbling surroundings still hint at former glories, as befits a song about past loves. Mosseri continues, “The space has kind of a haunting quality to it and we felt like the mood of the song fit the vibe of the building… We all wrote this song together as a band and feel it captures the tone of our new record.” Watch the video for“I Already Forgot Everything You Said” on PureVolume HERE and HERE.

The Dig released their new album Midnight Flowers on May 29th via Buffalo Jump Records.  Last July they moved to Los Angeles by popular demand for a residency at Silverlake Lounge after playing their successful shows with Ben Kweller in May.  The band is proud to lend their single to Turn the Tide: Songs for "Last Call at the Oasis" a companion charity album to the new film Last Call at the Oasis in support of the global water crisis alongside 20 unreleased exclusive tracks from artists including Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket and more.

The Dig's sound has been developing ever since the band's two singers Emile Mosseriand David Baldwin started making music together when they were eleven years old.  After meeting California native Erick Eiser, the three songwriters have been writing tunes and playing in different bands since they were 16 years old. Anchored by sharp guitars, a woozy synth backdrop and airtight vocal harmonies, the new album Midnight Flowers which is produced by Bryce Goggin (Pavement, The Apples In Stereo, Swans, Antony & The Johnsons) via Buffalo Jump Records. It recalls styles ranging from T. Rex to Brian Eno to The Everly Brothers.
