WILD SWEET ORANGE RELEASE DEBUT RECORD, WE HAVE CAUSE TO BE UNEASY

NEW TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

LOLLAPALOOZA PERFORMANCE CONFIRMED

Canvasback Music is proud to announce the debut full-length record from Birmingham, AL, natives Wild Sweet Orange. Following the success of last winter's WHALE EP, after whose release, Entertainment Weekly declared that Wild Sweet Orange will be "your next favorite band," the group has created an exquisitely powerful record. Produced by Mike McCarthy (Spoon), the album reflects an honest and intense rock sound with a dynamic control and a deep lyrical quality rare in such a young band.

In support of We Have Cause to Be Uneasy, Wild Sweet Orange will be playing several shows throughout the summer and fall, including a performance at this year's Lollapalooza on August 3rd. The band has also just announced a string of tour dates with What Made Milwaukee Famous. The tour will kick off on August 27th in Orlando, FL, and will come to a close in Jacksonville, FL on September 12th.

The band landed their national television debut last month with a stunning performance on the Late Show with David Letterman. They plan to continue touring in support of their debut throughout the year. As hailed by Birmingham Magazine, "Wild Sweet Orange has made noise around Birmingham for years with their thoughtful, suburb-inspired rock. Expect the buzz to catch on in cities and suburbs nationwide."
