Domino Records will be releasing Hallam Foe, the soundtrack to the British independent film, "Mister Foe," on September 9th. Hallam Foe, comprised entirely of music from the Domino Records roster of artists, features the exclusive Franz Ferdinand track, "Hallam Foe Dandelion Blow," which was written specifically for the film, plus tracks by Sons & Daughters, Junior Boys, Clinic, Orange Juice and more. The film was recently awarded the Silver Bear award for Best Music In A Film at the Berlin Film Festival.

"Mister Foe" will be released in the U.S. on September 5th, 2008 by Magnolia Pictures. ("Mister Foe" is the U.S. title to the film. It has been called "Hallam Foe" throughout the rest of the world.) It features "Billy Elliott"’s Jamie Bell in the lead role of Hallam, Sophia Myles of "Extras," Ciaran Hinds of "There Will Be Blood," Ewen Bremner of "Trainspotting," and Claire Forlani of "For Your Consideration." "Mister Foe" is a magical story of redemptive love, loss and life on the rooftops of Edinburgh. Young Hallam is almost over the sudden death of his mother when he begins to suspect that his beautiful step-mother may have had a hand in her death. Fleeing his family for Edinburgh, his obsessions take a dangerous (and comic) turn as he falls in love with a girl who happens to look just like his mother.
