Post New Song from Forthcoming EP * Launch European & UK Tour in July

It's the hypnotic, addictive state of zen they inject into every one of their songs that makes it listenable. Recommended. -- KKKK Kerrang

Majestic, monolithically heavy yet full of light and air and structure, Red Sparowes' music may have been informed by metal and hardcore, but it has ended up somewhere else entirely, exploring new territories of shifting dynamics and cinematic scope. -- Popmatters.com

It is almost impossible to carve a niche in a genre as restrictive as post-rock, but with their Heaven-sent melodies and their plunging riffs of brimstone, Red Sparowes have drilled a planet- sized chasm. Pretentious as it might be, Every Red Heart... is a work of (knowlingly) epic proportions, looking boldly past any restrictions or expectations into a star-filled midnight sky. It's thrilling stuff, but in the end, if the truth be told, words really fail to describe it. -- 9/10, Drowned in Sound

Los Angeles epic instrumental group Red Sparowes has posted a new song from its forthcoming Aphorisms EP (available digitally August 1st, physical release date later this Fall) to precede European and UK tour dates in July. The track, available for streaming via the band's MySpace page is titled, "We left the apes to rot, but find the fang still grows within." The complete digital EP recorded with master engineer Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Big Business, Tool, et al.) will be available for download in August from iTunes, and similar online retailers.
