Underworld Has Landed: 24 Hours and Counting!

Say what you want about the current state of dance music around the globe, but Underworld still rules." Tripwire, 2007

48 hours till the highly anticipated return of Rick Smith and Karl Hyde to N. American soil, the two otherwise known as
Underworld. How apropos that the duo cross to ours via a Golden Gate, then follow a desolate road through desert and
mountains to the next performance in the sunny world of L.A. Next stop is the magnificent setting that is aptly titled
Red Rocks, followed by the largest natural setting in the most hectic and grandiose metropolis in the U.S., Central Park.
It would be at one of the country’s most historic cities that Underworld will be closing out their stay with us, perhaps they
can have a tea party in Boston prior to their departure….

UNDERWORLD LIVE - 2007

September - 8 San Francisco, CA The Warfield
September - 9 Los Angeles, CA Hollywood Bowl
September – 11 Denver, CO Red Rocks Amphitheatre

September – 15 Boston, MA Bank of America Pavilion

Their newest full length, Oblivion with Bells, kicks off like Saturday night with Sven Väth, Simian Mobile Disco and Frankie
Knuckles all fighting to get on the decks, then takes you over the flat fields of rural Essex, through Kings Cross with its olympic dreams and piss stained alleys, ending blissed out in a hidden cover in Ibiza. Epic techno nestles next to frail acoustics, beatific prose next to sharp urban observation, amazing sound texturing mixed with mobile phone recordings, rarely has the Underworld palette been so rich.
