This band has been making waves in the underground. The lineup consists of current and past members of Whitehorse and The Berzerker, both great bands in their own ways. The music of Black Jesus is just very different - a stimulating amalgam of Thrash, Death and Black Metal in a way that it sounds fresh. The attitude and structuring is not contrived but rather an honest expression of the feelings imbibed over the years. This one is laden with guitar shredding, nasty hooks and an aura of filthy and grimy rock'n'roll. It's addictive as you will realize a couple of songs into the album and you will keep coming back to it for more.
