About The Presets:

With three landmark albums in the last ten years, 2014 sees The Presets refine and focus on singles.

Releasing two singles this year including 'Goodbye Future', their latest single 'No Fun' sets The Presets on a nihilist path to techno decadence. Full of irreverent energy, squelching synth-bass, towering melody, and a crushing breakdown, 'No Fun' is a joyous and frightening offering.

Clocking up to fifteen singles in the bands history, The Presets are best known for classics such as 'This Boy's In Love', 'Are You The One?', 'Fall' and the towering, cage rattlling, bonafide anthem of 'My People', whose subject matter on the treatment of asylum seekers is as relevant today as it was when the song was first released in 2007.

Once described as the "music at the crossroads between Heaven and Hell" The Presets are infamous for their massive, blazing live show. The live set boils the essence of The Presets' studio material into a monster set of beats, synths, and an extra-sensory cavalcade of a light show. It's taken them all over the globe to festivals such as Coachella, Melt, Splendour in the Grass and Glastonbury plus countless international and domestic tours of their own.

Multi award winners, with everything from ARIAs, APRAs, Smacs, GQs and Triple J's - The Presets continue to push to the future. In a world first, the latest single 'No Fun' comes with a six-sided, interactive music video, allowing you to twist, turn and manipulate your own unique audiovisual experience in real time. They've also put their hand to scoring music for Melbourne based dance company Chunky Move, and earlier this year they toured extensively for "Timeline", a piece they created in collaboration with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

The Presets are currently in the studio creating album number four.

About Le1f:

In a world full of rappers claiming to be one of a kind, Le1f (born Khalif Diouf) is a real deal original, a fascinatingly complicated personality full of seeming contractions. He's a Manhattan native who studied ballet and modern dance, and eventually earned a degree in dance from Wesleyan before returning to the city to become a rapper. He's an out and proud gay MC whose style is rooted in Tunnel bangers from a less socially enlightened era of hip-hop. He's a producer who's responsible for the beat behind Das Racist's "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell", a fashion icon promoting a "hoodrat Tumblr aesthetic," and Internet personality on a transcendental quest to become a living digital avatar. "The fabric of my life is a sexy fucking textile," he brags on "Yup," from his debut mixtape, Dark York, and obviously that's no joke.

Le1f has one foot in the glossy Bling Era rap hits that he came to age on and one foot in the downtown electronic scene where he developed as an artist, and Dark York is true to both sides of his heritage. The beats (by Le1f, Nguzunguzu, Matt Shadetek, and what Le1f refers to as "Soundcloud guys and Internet friends") refuse to settle into easy categories like "rap" or "dance," and Le1f's muscular, hyperarticulate flow handily disposes of any misconceptions that he's anything less than than a legitimate rapper.

Since its release in April on Heems from Das Racist's Greedhead Music imprint, Dark York, and its addictively giddy, 5kinAndBone5-produced lead single "Wut," has made Le1f a media darling. The Fader, Spin, Pitchfork, Gawker, and a horde of taste-making blogs have held him up as an example of the direction hip-hop's evolving towards. Even more recently the video for "Wut," which prominently showcases Le1f's prodigious twerking skills, went viral, which indicates that there might be a much bigger audience for his entire artistic package than even his most ardent fans might have suspected. The cool thing about this story is that since we've never heard it before and we don't know how it's going to end.

About Antwon:

Give any of Antwon's critically acclaimed mixtapes or albums a cursory listen and you'll hear a gifted MC worthy of the blogosphere's accolades. But given more focused attention, you'll realize how much the San Jose-based hip-hop artist's output deviates from the bass-heavy, weed-laced posi-vibes of his West Coast compatriots. Antwon hardly shies away from punishing low-end or chemical enhancement, but his fatalistic litanies and short-sharp-shock attack have little to do with the mainstream rap game. On average, his early songs tapped-out at the two minute mark, giving him just enough time to spit out a couple of verses before lashing into his next spiel. And while not averse to lifting hooks from old funk songs or '80s synth ballads, Antwon typically veers towards caustic sound sources, industrial-like dirges, and swaths of digital haze. Rather than simply using the music as the springboard for to inundate the listener with his rhymes, Antwon employs his craft judiciously to allow the production to have it's own voice. Even his lyrics seem out of step with conventional hip-hop, with the braggart's vanity of big name artists eschewed in favor of grim, impoverished nihilism.

Antwon's deft ability to absorb and recontextualize disparate musical elements has not gone unrecognized. While it's no surprise that his refreshing approach has won an audience in the hip-hop world, it's the percolating excitement over his tracks in the fickle indie rock press world and the hardcore-matinee-level crowd eruptions at his shows that really demonstrate Antwon's burgeoning position as one of the leading voices in the rap community. With this building fanbase sending him out for performances across the U.S., U.K., and the far reaches of the European continent, Antwon's cross-pollinated empire looms larger every day.

About Chela:

Whether it's showing you how to properly get down to one of her mixes or propelling you into a state of pure nu-pop bliss, Chela has truly cemented herself as an emerging talent to watch within the alt-electro scene. Originally hailing from Melbourne, Australia as Chelsea May Wheatley, it hasn't taken long for Chela to prove her stellar production capabilities from her debut 2012 single, "Plastic Gun" to her more recent standout singles 'Romanticise'  and 'Zero', released through acclaimed cult label, Kitsune. Quickly gaining momentum for her lush vocal abilities, Chela rose to the attention of blogs and music media across the globe, as the voice to the Goldroom hit 'Fifteen', Viceroy's 'Dream Of Bombay', and hometown friends Clubfeet's single 'Heartbreak'. 2014 is proving to be a monumental year for Chela, which saw her appear across 8 shows at SXSW in Austin, TX, including showcases for Nylon Magazine and label home Kitsune, as well as hit the stage at the Heineken Dome at Coachella over two big weekends. Relocating to Los Angeles amongst it all, June saw her tour North America as the vocalist for Goldroom, playing sold-out venues such as the iconic El Rey in LA and The Brooklyn Bowl in NY. Finally settling down after a massive 6 months of live shows, Chela is back in the studio writing and producing for a debut record which will see her upcoming single 'Handful Of Gold' released to fans everywhere soon. This is only the start of the best to come for this music and fashion tastemaker, Chela!
