The Child of Lov signs to Domino imprint Double Six + Debut LP features Damon Albarn, DOOM, and Thundercat

Video: The Child of Lov album teaser -

The Child of Lov announces a forthcoming debut LP from Domino imprint, Double Six Records. The album includes collaborations with Damon Albarn, Thundercat, and DOOM. To celebrate, TCOL posted a video on thechildoflov.com. More information will be available from Double Six in early October.

The Child of Lov was discovered by Georgia resident Trey Reames (3rdegree), who originally hooked Cee-Lo up with Dangermouse for a collaboration that lead to Gnarls Barkley. The artist's first transmission was a demo for "Heal" which premiered on Pitchfork. "Heal" is the same demo that originally caught the attention of Trey Reames and later grabbed the attention of Damon Albarn leading to a collaboration. The Child of Lov followed up with the irresistible "Give Me", which premiered viaComplex. Most recently, the slow-burning, intergalactic R 'n' B of "Rotisserie" debuted at Okayplayer. Now, watch the teaser video soundtracked by an a cappella from The Child of Lov here
