MATT AND KIM ANNOUNCE LIGHTNING PRE-ORDER, FREE MP3 & NEW VIDEO

Today, Matt and Kim launch the iTunes pre-order for their new full-length album Lightning - http://itun.es/i6DH8Gr. The album officially hits shelves and all online outlets on October 2nd via FADER Label.  As an added bonus to the pre-order, the band is offering a free download of a brand new track, “Now”, on their official Facebook page bit.ly/MattandKimNow.  They are also releasing an intensely animated lyric video for the track - http://youtu.be/s20Rn9BlKeM.

Matt and Kim will perform the album’s first single, "Let's Go," on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on October 1st.  Just two days later, on October 3rd, the indie dance duo will take their extraordinary live show on the road for a six-week North American tour in support of Lightning.  Find all dates and ticket links at www.mattandkimmusic.com

Lightning, Matt and Kim’s 4th full-length, was written, recorded and self-produced by the duo in their Grand Street apartment in Brooklyn. The album’s ten outstanding tracks capture Matt and Kim’s minimal two-person approach while also showcasing their growth as musicians by being their most dynamic and raw release to date. “Let’s Go” shot to #13 on the iTunes Alternative Songs chart on the day of its release and received rave reviews from the likes of MTV, Rolling Stone, SPIN, ESPN, the New York Times and CBS News who “can’t get enough of Matt and Kim.”
