GRAMMY AWARD WINNER RAY LAMONTAGNE ANNOUNCES SELECT US TOUR DATES!!

Grammy Award winner Ray LaMontagne is set to tour 10 cities across the US this fall.  The acoustic tour will begin on November 16th in Washington DC and end on December 3rd in Columbus, Ohio with one of the stops being at New York City’s historic Carnegie Hall. Tickets will be available for sale starting September 7th for select cities.

Ray will also play at “Love for Levon” a benefit celebrating the life and music of Levon Helm.  The benefit will be held on October 3rd at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ.  All net proceeds from the concert will help support the lasting legacy of Levon Helm by helping his estate keep ownership of his home, barn and studio, and to continue The Midnight Ramble Sessions.

More recently Ray teamed up with Dana Bourgeois to release a limited edition Bourgeois guitar called The Ray LaMontagne Limited Edition Signature Series. Being a huge fan of Bourgeois guitars himself it was a natural fit to join forces and create a guitar built for touring. There are only 33 Ray LaMontagne Signature Series guitars signed by both Dana Bourgeois and Ray on the label inside of the guitar. For more information please visit http://www.pantheonguitars.com/.

In August 2010, Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs’ released the critically acclaimed, Grammy award winning album God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise.  The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Digital Album chart. This marked a personal sales best for Ray and tied his debut chart position at #3 with Gossip in the Grain.  In addition to winning Best Contemporary Folk Album for God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise, the album also garnered nominations for the coveted Song of The Year category for “Beg Steal or Borrow” as well as Best Engineered Album.  The single, “Beg Steal or Borrow” became Ray’s first radio #1.
