ENEMY REIGN: New Track Streaming At Decibelmagazine.com

Today Decibelmagazine.com hosts a stream of “Bathed In Flames” from Denver death metal overlords ENEMY REIGN. “Bathed In Flames” comes off the band’s self-issuedBetween Hell And Oblivion full-length which was recorded at Flatline Audio under the watchful gaze of super-star producer Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Cephalic Carnage, Martriden, Cobalt et al). The record offers up 11 tracks of mile-high deathgrind viciousness as well as the debut of vocalist, Stevie Boiser who replaced former throat, Sherwood Webber (Skinless). Skulls ‘n’ Bones praises the band for their impenitently “brutal, throat grabbing vocals and guitars laced with machine gun snare drums,” while Stereokiller opines, “The band, as evidenced by Between Hell And Oblivion, don't rely on parlor tricks and studio magic to sound demonic. They achieve that on their own.”

Comments guitarist Nick Guenther of the offering: “This album is made for the brutal few. It's dark and unapologetic. During the writing process, we all drew from different influences, which helped keep the material fresh from song to song. We never restrict ourselves to any sub genre or current metal trend. While spirit breaking brutality was our main focus, we made sure to keep that classic and catchy ENEMY REIGN riff-age intact.”

Adds Boiser: “We set out to make something that we would want to listen to, and that's exactly what we did. Between Hell And Oblivion is the next step in our evolution and the apotheosis of what ENEMY REIGN stands for; fast and brutal death metal. If that's what you’re into check it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.”
