Milwaukee-based wrecking crew ENABLER have
just announced a new string of North American live assaults set to run from
mid-October through the first week of November. With shows booked as part of
the annual CMJ conference in New York City, this year’s installment of the
massive Fest, Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas, the eleventh annual
incarnation of The Fest in Gainesville, Florida and more, ENABLER will
share the stage with the likes of Yakuza, Former Thieves, Converge, Kvelertak,
Brutal Truth and a range of other potent acts along the way.
Following their brutal touring schedule over the first half
of the year, having toured to SXSW and back across the country, and then having
toasted the country on the massive Summer Southern Lord package tour alongside
labelmates Burning Love, Martyrdöd, Black Breath and others, ENABLER took
a bit of time to regroup. The new incarnation of this crushing riff engine
contains founding guitarist/vocalist Jeff Lohrber (Today Is the Day, Trap
Them, Harlots) and bassist Amanda Daniels, who now induct new drummer
Dave Mann (Mouth of the Architect, ex-Rune) and new guitarist Eric Dunn (By Way
of Sunstorm, ex Harlots), re-solidifying the outfit’s lineup and setting ENABLER up
to wage war on false metal once again.
ENABLER’s energetic, hook-laden brutality stands as
some of the most infectious metallic hardcore within the modern scene. The
Wisconsin warriors have developed a devout fanbase over recent years through a
plethora of indie and DIY releases and diehard touring. The band’s Southern
Lord debut All Hail the Voidsurges with 35-minutes of the band’s
most lethal material to date which has pillaged media outlets internationally
since its release in July.
All Hail The Void can still be streamed in
its entirety via Blow The Scene.

"Doling out perhaps the most vicious hardcore/metal
hybrid to be vomited up from the underground in some time, Enabler's punishing
sound acts as a vehicle for poignant lyrics that resonate through these tough
times." – Alternative Press
"With an infectiously potent concoction of crusty
metal, punk, and dashes of hardcore, Milwaukee’s Enabler have just delivered
one of 2012′s best albums." – Blow The Scene
"Make no mistake, Enabler's grimy and biting riffs
indicate that the Milwaukee quartet are the real deal." – Ghettoblaster
Magazine
"...an immediate contender as a favorite of 2012...
Part crust, part D-beat, and all pissed off, it only takes a moment to realize
this band has an unconventional approach to writing catchy riffs." – Metal
Injection
“The twelve tracks on this album approach with the force
of hail storm pummeling from all sides with an energetic intensity. 4/5” –
Mouth For War
