"Scotsmen craft art pop full of hooks, wit and weirdness."
-- Rolling Stone [Band to Watch; Mid-year Report: The Best Albums of 2012 So Far]

"The U.K. neo-psych band's kitschy, futuristic video for the infections single takes us to a pastel-colored dimension that looks like a tropical version of TRON."
Entertainment Weekly "Must List"

"one of 2012's most thrilling records. . . The sometimes-strange, fabulously infectious mix they've crafted is the result of the band's determined eclecticism. Django Django is part surf-rock and part Motown, with elements of blues, cosmic space-pop and Egyptian music, glittery Beach Boys harmonies and tribal rhythms."
NPR Music "First Listen"

"Americana-tinged rock from a few Brits with their ears wide open. Django Django originates in the same tradition of the Beatles, Kinks, and Stones - titans that were also super-sensitive to the sounds swelling well outside their lane."
-- SPIN [5 Best New Artist for September '12]

"Their self-titled debut is sharp and simple and catchy, and it absolutely moves."
-- Stereogum [40 Best New Bands of 2012]

"A lot of bands now become super popular on the strength of a blog hit, and the album as a complete work is seemingly a dying art form, however . . . when it comes around, it's exciting. Django Django is just that, and worth your time from start to finish."
