Today, marks the release of Cuckoo Chaos' Super
Skeleton / Shanghaied 7" on White Iris Records. The A-side's dreamy riffs and melodies draw up memories of a scuba diving in a coral castle - relaxing,
beautiful and mystifying. The track progresses to a dissonant phrase
surrounded by harmony, exmplifying a skeleton "dancing merrily"
with its "bones exposed to the sun." While in the B-side,
"Shanghaied," the indie rock mathematicians convey feelings of loss and loneliness through reverb and
spiraling synth scales.
