Adult Swim announced today that Dethklok will
hit the road this fall in the upcoming headline tour with All That
Remains, Machine Head, and special guest The Black
Dahlia Murder. Kicking off on October 30 in Norfolk, VA, the tour featuring
the band from the Metalocalypse animated series will make more
than 30 stops throughout the United States and Canada before coming to an end
in Atlanta, GA. For ticket information please visit www.adultswim.com/dethtour.
See below for all upcoming tour dates.
As in tours past, bringing Dethklok to life on stage will be Metalocalypse co-creator
Brendon Small on guitar and lead vocals, legendary drummer Gene Hoglan, bass
guitarist Bryan Beller and guitarist Mike Keneally. This line-up of talented
musicians will be joined by Nathan Explosion, William Murderface, Skwisgaar Skwigelf,
Pickles and Toki Wartooth in all-new animation from Titmouse Studios that will
play behind the live musicians.
In addition to news of this fall tour, Adult Swim’s Williams Street Records
premiered today the new music video for ‘I Ejaculate Fire,’ the first single
off of the band’s upcoming album, Metalocalypse: Dethklok Dethalbum
III, which is available for viewing at Spin.com now. The single appears as the opening track
on the album and is available for download in the iTunes®
store right now.
Metalocalypse:
Dethklok Dethalbum III will be released on October 16 in a variety
of formats including a standard CD, clean CD and Deluxe Edition CD/DVD combo,
which will include a 32-minute behind-the-scenes documentary of the making of Dethalbum
III, as well as music videos and more. A vinyl edition of the album
with special etching will also be released on November 6, 2012.
