WHO'S BAD TO LAUNCH MICHAEL JACKSON WEB PORTAL - JUNE 25TH

Who’s Bad-The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band, is excited to announce that this Monday, June 25 is the official launch date for Jacksonology. The date was carefully chosen for its significance to Michael Jackson fans worldwide, as well as to the band: “In 2009, the world was shocked when Michael passed on June 25th. Who’s Bad’s mission to keep MJ’s music alive not only became justified, but we felt it was our responsibility and obligation to bring the music to the people, live and full of energy – as only Who’s Bad can do it. With Jacksonology, we hope to continue sharing our love of Michael’s life works with all of his fans.”

The Who’s Bad Jacksonology web portal will contain a comprehensive overview of Michael Jackson’s storied life and work. It is a retrospective piece that Who’s Bad has assembled to be a central place where Michael Jackson fans and devotees of his music can learn more about his vast works, his life and his family.
Band founder and manager Vamsi Tadepalli is pleased to launch the project – the idea for Jacksonology had initially been discussed around 4 years ago, but in 2010, Tadepalli laid out plans with Jeff Schad of Montauk Music and aMedia Creative to get it off the ground. Shortly after, the intensive work on Jacksonology
commenced.

“Michael’s career spanned most of his life. To say he did a lot over those years is an understatement, but we tried our best to share most of that information within Jacksonology – from lyrics, photos, to movies and biographies – we covered not only Michael’s solo career, but his journey from the days of the Jackson 5 to his untimely end.”

With the launch, Tadepalli acknowledges that it’s just the start. He envisions this work continuing to evolve and grow, and keep future generations of MJ fans informed, engaged and entertained. For now, he and the band are simply excited to see fans’ reactions come launch day June 25th.
