MOBY NEW SINGLE“LIE DOWN IN DARKNESS” OUT NOW

Moby’s new single “Lie Down In Darkness”is out now! The digital only remix bundle comes with the original album version along with an array of remixes including Paul Van Dyk, Photek, and Michael Mayer, in addition to others. An achingly soulful track of sublime melancholy and symphonic grandeur “Lie Down In Darkness” is taken from Moby’s most recent studio album, Destroyed,out now.

The official music video for “Lie Down In Darkness” is out now. The video, directed by Luke Seomore and Joseph Bull (Institute for Eyes) was shot in London last month and is influenced by the life of Russian astronaut Yuri Gagarin. This September sees the multi-talented Moby headlining major electronic festivals, performing acoustically with his band, and hosting gallery events in support of Destroyed, his new book of photography (full schedule below). Fans that missed Moby at the Destroyed book opening in New York at Clic Gallery back in May have another chance to catch Moby on September 7th at Barnes & Noble (Union Square) where he will sign copies of his book and play a short acoustic performance.

On July 31st Moby headlined the final night of the Apple iTunes Festival at The Roundhouse in London, which was streamed live on iTunes. The performance is available digitally at iTunes now.

Recently Moby partnered with Saatchi & Saatchi and Vimeo to set up a competition in support of young filmmakers. Well received with over 600 entries coming in from young directors across the globe, the winning video announced at this year’s Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase in Cannes was directed by Alberto Gomezi for “After”, taken from Moby’s latest album Destroyed.
