Since their formation in 2003 EAT THE GUN have played about 500 club and festival shows all over Germany. In 2004 they were invited by Jägermeister to support the Scandinavian rock stars HIM on three shows of their German tour.

2004 saw EAT THE GUN winning "Bilbo Rock" contest in Bilbao, Spain. The prize money came in handy for recording their debut album "Cross Your Fingers" which was released in March 2006 on the bands' own record label Eattitude Records.

In early 2008 EAT THE GUN were ready to record their second studio album "Super Pursuit Mode Aggressive Thrash Distortion" with producer and skateboard legend Claus Grabke. The album was released in cooperation with the independent label Limited Access Records on March 13, 2009.

EAT THE GUN has shared the stage with international artists including: Duff McKagan's Loaded, Danko Jones, Die Toten Hosen, Him, In Extremo, Backyard Babies, Hardcore Superstar, Donots, Status Quo, and played some of Germany's largest rock festivals including: Taubertal Festival, Big Day Out Festival and Open Flair Festival.

The band worked together with producer Toni Meloni (The Sorrow, Apokalyptische Reiter, Die Toten Hosen), to create songs that are both intuitively gripping and at the same time thought-provoking and disturbing. With the release of their new album "Runner" EAT THE GUN are poised and ready to take North America and the rest of the world by storm.
